Back in March 2019, Vivo launched its budget smartphone dubbed Vivo Y9i in India. Initially, the device came with 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard memory. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker has now added another variant of the device to its shelves. The all-new variant offers more RAM and more onboard memory. Here is everything you need to know about it.
Vivo Y9i 3GB RAM Variant: Price, Availability
The all-new Vivo Y9i comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and is available in the Indian market. It comes with a price tag of INR 7,990 (i.e. roughly $108). Coming to the availability, the device is available only across offline retailers. This means that interested buyers will not be able to buy it online.
The offline product comes with the same specifications apart from the RAM and storage configuration. On the front, there is a 6.22-inch Halo FullView display with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display also has 2.5D curved design along with a waterdrop notch that houses selfie camera sensors. Under the hood, the device is powered by Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, the device comes with a single 13MP camera sensor on the back accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies and video calling, we’re looking at an 8MP front snapper. All of these are backed by a 4,030mAh battery packed inside with no fast charging support. The device runs on older Android 8.1 Oreo with FunTouch OS on top. It is worth mentioning that there is no fingerprint sensor on the device. This means that you will have to rely on the software-based Face Unlock security feature. Other specifications include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, single-band WiFi and 4G VoLTE.
