When the coronavirus began spreading quickly, many manufacturers have had to close their plants. Also, most of them closed their laboratories. In some sense, the time stopped. But China set an example of how to fight against such disasters. We mean many of the China-based companies and stores have resumed work, while Europe and America are still locked. Today, Huawei announced the summary of Ren Zhengfei’s interview with the South China Morning Post. He said that their company has restored more than 90% of its production capacity. More interestingly, the company has been doing 6G synchronization.

Huawei has resumed more than 90% of normal production and research and development. During the Spring Festival, Huawei has more than 20,000 scientists, experts, and engineers working overtime. Ren Zhengfei said that he must keep up with the time, and work hard for the continuity of production before the United States may increase sanctions against Huawei. He acknowledged that there are difficulties in supplying materials across countries and companies. The entire industry chain has an impact on Huawei. But it is not so big. It can still guarantee the supply.

On the issue of 5G and 6G, the reporter asked whether Huawei has considered developing 6G now. Ren Zhengfei said that Huawei has been doing 6G, synchronized with 5G. But 6G has not yet broken through in theory and other aspects. So 6G should be used by humans in ten years, not earlier.
