Motorola has taken the wraps of its flagship series in the last month and now the flagship is gearing up to make its big arrival in India. According to an announcement made by the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart, the Motorola Edge+ will debut in India on May 19 at 12PM local time.
Motorola Edge+ specifications
Under the hood, the Edge+ boasts Snapdragon 865 SoC. The chipset comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset boasts seamless 5G connectivity. These specifications are built around a 6.7-inch AMOLED FullHD+ display. The display is curved and Motorola calls it “Endless Edge” display. Moreover, it has a punch-hole in the top-left corner housing a 25MP selfie shooter and there is a fingerprint reader underneath.
Moving around to the back, we have a triple-camera setup comprising a 108MP main camera, joined by an 8MP telephoto and 16MP ultrawide and macro sensor. Interestingly enough, the telephoto lens offers only 3x optical zoom.
The Motorola Edge draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with a rather simple 18W fast-charging. The handset also sports 15W wireless charging and supports reverse wireless charging offering up to 5W. The company also has a vanilla Motorola Edge that is a premium mid-range device with the Snapdragon 765G. However, it’s unclear if the company will also bring it to India.
Unfortunately there still no details regarding pricing, but more should come in the coming days.
