Vivo Y30 Might Launch in India Soon with Helio P35 Chipset and Quad Rear Cameras

After launching the Vivo Y30 smartphone in Malaysia, the Chinese smartphone maker is now planning to bring the device to the Indian market. The affordable mid-range smartphone will further expand the company’s Y-lineup offering in the country. It comes with all the current popular trends namely punch-hole cutout, quad rear cameras, massive battery, and more. Well, here is everything we know about the launch, availability, and specs of the device.

Vivo Y30 Indian Launch, Availability

As per the recent report by 91Mobiles, Vivo might bring its latest Vivo Y30 smartphone to India as soon as early June. As per the report, some Vivo officials have revealed the first week of June as the possible timeline for the device’s launch. Sadly, we don’t have any information on the pricing aspect. To recall, Vivo Y30 comes with a price tag of MYR 899 that is roughly INR 15,000 (or $198).

Considering the device is gonna fall under the mid-range smartphone segment, we should see the phone touting a similar price tag. Furthermore, Vivo might go with aggressive pricing to compete with other brands. If the early June timeline is anywhere true, we should then be hearing more about the device in the coming days or weeks.

For selfies and video calling, we’re looking at an 8MP front snapper housed inside the notch. All of these run on a massive 5,000 mAh battery packed inside. Sadly, there is no information about whether the fast charging support is there or not.

On the software front, the device runs on an Android 10 operating system with FunTouch OS 10 on top. For biometrics, there is a physical capacitive fingerprint sensor at the back. Lastly, we’re looking at dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
