Hong-kong based Infinix is all set to launch the next series of smartphones, the Infinix Hot 9 series in India. The company had teased the arrival of the smartphones a few days back. Now, a Flipkart page has gone live and confirmed its arrival.
Flipkart’s mobile page tells us that the phone will arrive on May 29th at 12 PM IST. The landing page, however, does not have any info about the specifications of the device. The teaser page gives us a first look at the device having a single punch-hole screen and quad-cameras on the back.
Gizchina News of the week
Additionally, the page says the Hot 9 will have a series of smartphones hinting at a ‘Pro’ variant of the Hot 9. If we look at the images, there is a quad-camera setup with a 48MP AI logo on it. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back and Infinix branding, along with a DTS logo indicating the support for DTS audio.
We have volume buttons and a power button on the right side. On the front, there is a single punch-hole screen. Other details about the processor and cameras are not known yet.
All of these details make us believe that the image on the poster is likely the Hot 9 Pro since the Infinix Hot 9 that launched a few months back in Indonesia, had inferior specifications.
The device has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution. It is powered by a Mediatek Helio A25 SoC. Quad-camera setup at the back has a 16MP primary shooter. There is an 8MP sensor at the front for selfies.
Additionally, it has a fingerprint sensor at the back, 5000mAh battery and comes in a 4GB RAM, 128GB storage variant. It runs on XOS 6 based on Android 10, has dual 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB and a 3.5m headphone slot. That being said, We will have to wait for a few days to know about the Pro variant.
