India recently banned an array of Chinese apps, most notably TikTok and WeChat, but also the Mi Browser Pro; The Mi Community was blacklisted in the earlier list of 59 apps back in June including TikTok. MIUI is facing serious complications after the Mi Browser Pro getting banned in India; The business has now issued a statement, describing its customers that; none of the pressed apps is functional on its phones anymore and a new version of MIUI is in the works with none of those blocked applications.
Xiaomi India to Launch a new version of MIUI
The new version of MIUI without blocked apps will be rolled out in phases over the next few weeks in the country, added the brand. Following the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 and Redmi 9 Prime smartphones in the country, the company addressed the problems raised on Clean Master. The letter also stated “Please note that Clean Master is a common industry name”; appending that “MIUI has its own cleaner app and we are not using the Clean Master app that has been blocked by the government.”
