This hurts Samsung even more because it is reported that Samsung is considering abandoning the Snapdragon 875 completely and adopting Exynos 1000 instead. If this is the case, Samsung’s highest-end smartphone will yield any flagship Android phone packed with the Snapdragon 875. However, we think this is unlikely because Samsung’s previous flagship phones came with Exynos and Snapdragon chips according to different regions.
Samsung To Use A New Graphics Card
Ice Universe also said that Samsung smartphones will not use AMD GPU next year. This means that the Exynos 1000 chipset using AMD’s new RDNA GPU technology rumors may be false. According to the news, Samsung’s flagship smartphone next year will come with the Mali-G78 GPU instead of AMD’s solution. The tipster believes that Samsung will use AMD GPU in 2022. But at the same time, Qualcomm will also significantly update the GPU to Adreno 7. So everything is possible. Although the S5E9840 (or Exynos1000) performance is not the strongest, the power consumption will be better.
For the standard Galaxy S21 smartphone, the latter will come with the less powerful Exynos 992. While you may think this is less possible, there is a ground for such assumptions. If this is true, a weaker processor will keep the price of S21 at a low level.
