Realme has updated its C-lineup smartphones. Realme C3 got instant popularity thanks to its gaming chipset at an affordable price tag. Now, Realme has introduced a number of new devices under its C series. All of them are budget-oriented and are placed under their number series. After launching Realme C11, C12, and C15, the Chinese company is all set to launch Realme C17. The C17 will be a step-up from the C15 launched recently. Below are the specifications as well as the launch date for the Realme C17.
Realme C17 Specifications
The specifications are not revealed officially but come from a leaked poster. The C17 sports a 6.5-inches IPS LCD panel however there is implementation of a 90Hz refresh rate. This will be the major selling point of C17 since it will be one of a few smartphones at this price range with a higher refresh rate. However, Realme doesn’t seem to give much importance to an FHD+ display. And the C17 comes with a 720p display.
Typical Quad-camera Setup For Realme C17
A quad-camera setup is rocking on the back-side of C17. The setup comprises of 13-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro. On the front, an 8-megapixel sensor sits on the punch-hole notch for selfies.

Stability of Snapdragon
Seems like Realme is going to Snapdragon for its budget phones as well. The Realme C17 comes with Snapdragon 460 SoC. The phone comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can also increase the storage by using a MicroSD card. There is no comprise made on the battery and C17 sports a huge 5000 mAH battery. There is fast charging support of 18W. Thankfully, there is a USB Type-C port. Moving to the software, you will get Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box.
Design Inspired By The Realme 7
Realme 7 comes with a newer design language. Realme used a similar vertical camera for most of its devices in the first half of the year. Now, they have switched to a bolder design language. The same goes for the Realme C17. There seems to be a glossy plastic back with a matte stripe covering Realme branding. The front also resembles the high-end models’ thanks to the punch-hole notch.
The two colors for the Realme C17 remains Navy Blue and Lake Green. The C17 will be introduced in the Bangladesh market at 12 PM on September 21.
