Xiaomi launched their Redmi 9 series smartphones in the global markets. For now, the Redmi 9 series seems complete consisting of Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9C. However, Redmi seems to launch more and more variants. The Redmi 9A which is the most affordable Redmi smartphone has now received a new variant. The details of the Redmi 9A 6GB variant are given below.
Now, this is not the first time that the Redmi 9A got a new variant. The vanilla version of Redmi 9A came with 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants. However, Redmi re-launched the Redmi 9A as “Redmi 9i” with 4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage options. Now, another variant has popped up in China with much more RAM and high internal storage.
The budget-oriented Redmi 9A in China comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The price of this variant is CNY999 (~$145) and is launching tomorrow. Below is a recap of the specifications that the Redmi 9A 6GB variant carries.

The 9A carries a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600. Being a budget device, the company has opted for a teardrop notch. For the camera, there is a 13-megapixel single shooter coupled with an LED Flash. It is capable of video recording at 1080p@30/60fps. On the front side, you will get a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The selfie cam can record videos at 1080p@30fps.
