The Reno 5 lineup already consists of a bunch of devices namely Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro, and Reno 5 Pro+. Oppo launches Reno 5 K 5G smartphone in China: Specs, Features
The all-new Reno 5 K 5G smartphone makes use of a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The screen also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB built-in storage. It is worth noting that the internal storage is not expandable via a microSD slot.
In terms of optics, Oppo Reno 5 K comes with a quad-camera array on the rear having a 64MP primary sensor. The primary lens accompanies an 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth unit. For selfies and video calling, there is a single 32MP selfie shooter housed inside the punch-hole cutout located on the top-left corner.
On the software front, the smartphone runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on the latest Android 11 operating system. All of these get the juice from a 4,300mAh battery inside that can promptly refuel thanks to 60W fast charging support. As the name suggests, the device supports 5G connectivity. For biometrics, we’re looking at an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Reading all these specifications, you might now be getting confused and that makes sense. The all-new Reno 5 K borrows almost an entirety of its hardware from the original Reno 5. What’s the difference, you ask? chipset. The new addition in the Reno series makes use of a different chipset from the original device.
Oppo Reno 5 K comes in three different color options namely blue, black, and a gradient option. The device will be up for grabs starting from March 6 in China. Sadly, there is no official pricing from the company and we expect to hear that in the coming days.
