Realme held an event today where it unveiled new 5G smartphones for Chinese customers. Among them, we have another entry for the Chinese exclusive Realme V-series. The new device comes in the form of Realme V13 and packs decent specifications such as a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a huge 5,000mAh battery, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it’s one of the budget smartphones with the biggest amount of storage in the market. Without further ado, let’s dive into the specifications of the Realme V13.
Realme V13 5G specifications
The chipset of the Realme V13 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip. It’s an Octa-Core CPU featuring two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz plus six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz. It’s based on a modern 7nm architecture and brings Mali-G57 MC2 GPU to the table. The device is paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of Storage. The 8GB of RAM amount is already very generous for a device that comes for the budget segment. A 256GB variant is even more impressive, especially when both come with microSD card expansion. This is one of the few budget smartphones, where users will not really be concerned with apps or game size.

In the camera department, just as we’ve expected, the phone has a 48MP camera with an f/1.8 main shooter. It packs a 6P lens in front. It comes alongside two low-res units. One is for macro shots and the second one is a B&W sensor. There is one camera on the front, it is comprised by the display’s punch hole, and it’s an 8MP snapper. The display is a 6.5-inch LCD unit packed with FHD+ resolution. We’ve been expecting an HD+ panel, so it’s a nice surprise to see that Realme is sticking with the 1080p+ resolutions. It also has a very good 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The recently released Realme 8 Pro, for example, while brings an AMOLED display, has a disappointing 60Hz refresh rate.
Another of Realme V13 highlights is on the battery department. The phone comes with a huge 5,000mAh battery with a decent 18W fast-charging. It packs a USB-C port in case you’re wondering. Moreover, Realme will provide the necessary charging adapter in the box. The phone also has Android 11 in tow with Realme UI 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and dual 5G capabilities over SA/NSA networks.
Pricing and Availability
The Realme V13 5G is available in Black and Blue colorways. Depending on the storage amount, the handset costs either CNY1,599 ($245) or CNY 1,799 ($275), the first pre-orders have just begun, while the flash sale will commence on Saturday, April 2. Unfortunately, we don’t think that this device will reach other markets anytime soon.
