Top 5 Features We’d Like To See On The Realme 9 Series

In a short amount of time, Realme was able to attract customers thanks to high price to performance ratio devices. Realme is currently having multiple smartphone series. The most popular is the number series. The latest devices in the number series are Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. Even though Realme provided a fresh new design, better camera, and AMOLED display but there is always room for improvement. Below are the top 5 improvements we would like to see on the Realme 9 series.

1. Better chipset, especially on the Pro version

The Realme 8 comes with Helio G95 chipset while the Pro has Snapdragon 720G. Ironically, the vanilla version is powerful compared to the Pro. And what if I tell you Realme has been using the same Snapdragon 720G chipset for the last 3 generations? Yes, the Realme 6 Pro, Realme 7 Pro, and now the 8 Pro all are powered by Snapdragon 720G. Mind you, Snapdragon 720G is not a very powerful chipset in 2021. Performance was once a key highlight of the number series which Realme is losing. I want to see a Snapdragon 8xx series chipset like the Snapdragon 860 (Used on POCO X3 Pro) or a Dimensity 800 series chipset on the Realme 9 Pro.

2. High refresh rate

Even the cheap Realme C-series smartphones have a higher refresh rate but the number series abandoned it. I know, they used SAMOLED display but so did the Redmi Note 10 series. A high refresh rate should be given to every mid-range smartphone. 120Hz refresh rate or even 90Hz will make the display even better.

3. Bring back the telephoto

Realme 8 Pro’s highlight was its camera but only the primary sensor was able to stand out. Realme, if you are marketing a phone’s camera then make sure it has decent sensors. Why not use a telephoto lens which was used on Realme 6 Pro? It will make the camera system a lot better compared to ordinary macro and depth sensors. I hope to see better-supporting sensors on the Realme 9 Pro.

4. Dual stereo speakers

Come on, Realme, you have to look towards your competitors. Check what they are offering. I was blown away by the speakers of my POCO X3. But unfortunately, Realme 8 Pro lacks it. Even the Realme 7 Pro had dual stereo speakers. I hope Realme does not make the same mistake with the Realme 9 series.

5. Wireless charging

I also wrote this on my wishlist for Redmi Note 10 Pro. Since Realme is a lot more into charging, I guess they can bring a wireless charging feature to their mid-range Realme 9 series. I appreciate the fact that Realme 8 Pro has one of the fastest charging speeds in the market. But they can further improve it by bringing wireless charging even on the Realme 9 Pro model.
