Cubot X50 with flagship quad cameras hits market for $169.99

Cubot X50

All smartphones are striving to offer the customer the best mobile cameras available. Of course the cheaper affordable models need to always look for a compromise, but with the current technology’s great leap forward even them can get some great sensors. The upcoming Cubot X50 is planning to do just that and dominate in the cost / performance category with its quad-camera setup. The phone will debut on May 17th with a special promo price and will really be quite an affordable piece to get.

The makers are even calling it as a flagship-grade camera setup and it really looks pretty solid. The rear quad camera combo includes a 64MP f/1.8 main Samsung S5KGW1 sensor, a 16MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera,a 5MP f/2.2 macro camera and 0.3MP photosensitive sensor. And the selfie shooter is not neglected either with 32MP resolution AI beauty camera.

Of course it’s not only about the high resolution, but the software side of things and features need to be in sync too. Cubot X50 copes with that just fine though and brings everything to the table. Finer details from distant landscapes with a 64MP super high resolution lens, panorama view with the 16MP ultra-wide camera, and close-up shots with the 5MP macro camera. It offers also the special Super Night Mode for low light conditions and the manual Pro mode for the real experts.

Cubot X50 will be making its debut on May 17th and the price looks pretty promising. Officialy set at $179.99, but for the launch it will be available on Aliexpress discounted to $169.99. That’s fairly solid considering all the specs and especially the cameras.
