Gizchina News of the week

According to Weibo blogger @长安数码君, the company has already concluded the final design of the Huawei P50 series. The slight difference from the leaks so far is the oval track, which is slightly lower than the camera module. This means that the two big round lumps will be protruding just like it is in the latest teaser.

According to previous reports, the Huawei P50 will come with a 6.3-inch flat screen. The dimension of this device will be 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm. If we include the rear camera protrusion, the thickness will be 10.6 mm. This means that the body of the Huawei P50 is larger than that of the P40 which measures 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5 mm.

Huawei P50 series is expected to adopt the new outsole main camera IMX707, and it will reach 1/1.18 inches. In addition to the basic version, there are multiple auxiliary lenses that support fingerprint recognition under the screen, and dual speakers on the top and bottom.

The Huawei P50 series will have about three models. We are expecting the Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. While the P50 will use a micro-curved screen, the P50 Pro will use a waterfall screen while the P50 Pro+ will use a quad curved screen. All three models will use a center punch-hole design for the first time. Under the hood, this series will use the Kirin 9000E/9000 processor. The entire lineup will use Sony’s exclusive custom IMX800 sensor. However, the Huawei P50 Pro + will also have a liquid lens. To keep their lights on will be a 4200 mAh or 4300 mAh battery. These smartphones will support 66W wired fast charging and 55W wireless fast charging. On the software end, these devices will come with HarmonyOS out-of-the-box.
