A few days ago, OnePlus India was promoting a new TV product that should hit the market in the coming days. Today, as planned, the Chinese manufacturer announced a new large-screen product, namely the OnePlus TV U1S.
OnePlus TV U1S Features
It’s a LCD TV series that is available in India only. The product line includes 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models. They all have a 4K resolution. The price starts at INR 39,999, which converts to $546.
This TV supports 10-bit color display and covers 93% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It also has an HDR10+ certification and an HLG support. Unfortunately, it does not support Dolby Vision. Say, its main rivals in face of Realme and Xiaomi all come with a Dolby Vision support. Anyway, as the manufacturer claims, the color accuracy of the product is Delta-E<2. Plus, it will automatically adjust to this calibrated preset when the movie mode is turned on.
The OnePlus TV U1S TV sports 30W speakers, which supports Dolby audio, but does not support Dolby Atmos. Interestingly, the Realme TV launched in India also supports this feature. By the way, the speakers are co-tuned with Dynaudio. And it offers a cinematic experience by using over 50 AI algorithms like noise reduction, MEMC, FCC, Anti-aliasing, and more.
Our protagonist runs on the Android TV 10 system with OxygenPlay 2.0 on top. It also features a quick-connect feature with the OnePlus Buds. The TV comes with built-in Netflix, Prime Video, Spotify, Chromecast along with Miracast, DLNA, and Multicast and other applications as well as Google voice assistant. The TV also works with Amazon Alexa. It has a 2GB memory and a 16GB storage space.
This TV has three HDMI 2.1 input ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 SPDIF optical audio output. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi.
OnePlus TV Camera
Apart from the new TV series, the company also released the OnePlus TV Camera. It is especially designed for OnePlus TVs but you can use them with other TVs as well. This camera enables capturing wide-angle photos and 1080p video. The OnePlus TV Camera also has dual microphones and background noise cancelation. As you understand, this camera is for turning the OnePlus TV into a big monitor when making calls. When not in use, the camera can be closed by sliding a cover on the lens.
The OnePlus TV U1S is priced at INR 39,999 ($546) for the 50-inch model, INR 47,999 ($655) for the 55-inch model, and INR 62,999 ($860) for the 65-inch model. The OnePlus TV Camera is priced at INR 2,499 ($34).
