Realme GT Neo2 starting price in India has been revealed ahead of the phone’s imminent launch in the country. The Indian-based Chinese smartphone maker is on the verge of launching a new GT series smartphone dubbed the GT Neo2. The phone is set to go official in China on September 22. Unlike most smartphone makers, Realme hasn’t shied away from revealing its new phone’s specifications and other key details.
The phone’s launch event in China will kick off at 02:00 pm local time (around 11:30 am IST). As mentioned earlier, Realme has already divulged some information about its upcoming smartphone. However, details about the price tag it would carry were still few and far between. The GT Neo2 is likely to come in multiple variants. The phone has made its appearance on a Chinese e-commerce website. Now, a noted tipster who spotted the listing has shed light on the phone’s variant-wise pricing.
Realme GT Neo2 Price In India (Expected)
Renowned leaker Mukul Sharma found the GT Neo2 smartphone’s listing on an e-commerce website. The aforesaid listing revealed the price each of the phone’s variants would carry. Furthermore, the listing suggests that the phone will be available with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and offer 128GB/256GB onboard storage capacity. The phone’s starting price will be CNY 2,499 (about INR 28,500). This will be for the 6GB RAM+128GB model.

Likewise, the listing suggests that the 8GB RAM+128GB ROM variant will set you back CNY 2,699 (about INR 30,700). The highest-end model that ships with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage will retail for CNY 2,999, which converts roughly to about INR 34,200. It is worth mentioning here that the Realme GT Neo2 price in India will not necessarily coincide with the phone’s pricing in China. However, the phone’s specifications have already been revealed.

According to Realme, the GT Neo 2 will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC under the hood. Furthermore, it will sport a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Aside from that, the display offers HDR10+ support. The phone could come in a Mercedes AMG Special Edition, Blue, Mint Green color options, according to a report from Yahoo.
On the photography front, the GT Neo 2 will feature a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor at the back. Upfront, the phone will house a 16MP selfie camera. Moreover, the phone will run on Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 on top. It will come with a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. For connectivity, it offers a Type-C port, a headphone jack, 5G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6.
