The company has been releasing the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version to multiple flagships. The latest report shows that the global version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro are now getting this update. The version number of this update is V12.5.4.0.RJDMIXM and comes with four main optimizations. The upgrades include
- Dynamically allocate system resources according to usage scenarios
- Atomic memory: refine memory usage and improve background resident ability
- Kernel performance optimization, making full use of flagship hardware
- Liquid storage system: it can reduce fragmentation and avoid storage performance decay over time

To put it simply, the global version of the Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 enhanced version has similar improvements as the Chinese version. The new version of the system also adds a fingerprint option, optimizes the compatibility of the notification bar with third-party themes, and optimizes the notification interface in dark mode. In addition, there are 11 fixes in this update, including the issue of unlocking using the face and fingerprint at the same time. It also fixes a bug that stops notifications from displaying normally when the app is locked.
