Poco M4 Pro 4G smartphone’s India launch date has been officially confirmed, and it is likely to be a rebadged Redmi Note 11S. Last week, Poco brought the Poco M4 Pro 5G into the Indian market. The phone has already gone on its first sale in the country. Now, Poco is gearing up for the imminent launch of the Poco M4 Pro 4G in India. Aside from that, the brand will be unveiling the handset for the European market, along with the Poco X4 Pro 5G.
Poco M4 Pro 4G Official India Launch Date
Taking to it Twitter handle, Poco confirmed that the Poco M4 Pro 4G variant’s India launch date is set for 7 PM (IST) on February 28. Moreover, the tweet confirmed that the handset will be available in the country via Flipkart. Although Poco did not divulge any specifications of the 4G variant, the device has passed through multiple certification websites and the Geekbench benchmarking website with key specs.

The Geekbench listing of the M4 Pro confirmed that it carries model number 2201117SI. Aside from that, the listing shows that the phone will come with a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. The phone’s single-core and multi-core scores in the Geekbench benchmark are 526 and 1832. Also, the Poco M4 Pro 4G was listed on the Google Play Console earlier this week. If the key specs of the upcoming m4 Pro 4G variant are anything to go by, it could be a rebadged Redmi Note 11S.
Specifications & Features
If rumors making the rounds prove to be true, the Poco M4 Pro 4G could boast the specifications as the Redmi Note 11S. So, it will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone will probably ship with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offer 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is likely to use a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W charging for drawing its juices. Furthermore, the phone will run Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top.
A report by 91mobiles suggests that the Redmi Note 11S and Poco M4 Pro could turn out to be the same smartphone. On the photography front, the phone will house three cameras at the back. This tripe rear camera setup will include a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone could house a 16MP selfie camera. There’s lack of official confirmation about the phone’s pricing. However, the Poco M4 Pro 4G is likely to carry a competitive price tag in India. Moreover, it will be cheaper than its 5G-enabled sibling.
