The upcoming Google Pixel 6a smartphone has been listed on the Geekbench benchmarking website with some key details. Google is gearing up to launch its much-awaited Pixel 6a smartphone later this year. In the meantime, the search engine giant’s upcoming affordable phone has been floating around the rumor mill. To recall, the Google Pixel 6a renders had popped up on the internet back in November 2021.

As expected, the leaked renders gave us a glimpse of the upcoming Pixel phone’s awe-inspiring design. Aside from that, past leak claim that the phone will pack the same chipset that power up the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. Now, before going official, the Google Pixel 6a has made its appearance on Geekbench listing with some key features. In other words, the listing sheds more light on the impending handset’s processor, memory, operating system, and other key details. So, let’s check the Google Pixel 6a specs and features.

There’s no official confirmation from Google. However, an earlier report citing leaker Max Jambor, suggests that Google could announce the Pixel 6a smartphone at the Google I / O developer conference. For those who are unaware, the Google I / O developer conference usually takes place in May. Now, the handset’s Geekbench has divulged its key specs as well. First off, the listing suggests the Pixel 6a will pack the company’s Tensor chipset. To recall, the Pixel 6 series packs the same processor.

Google Pixel 6a Arrives On Geekbench

This piece of information coincides with a past leak that implied the Pixel 6a could come with a Tensor GS101 chipset. Moreover, the leak had revealed more details about the upcoming phone’s camera setup. According to the Geekbench listing, this Tensor chip will have 2 Arm Cortex-X1 cores that clock at 2.80GHz. Also, the chip will feature 2 Arm Cortex-A76 cores that will run at 2.25GHz. Furthermore, the listing suggests that the Tensor chip has four highly efficient cores clocking at 1.8GHz.

Aside from that, the phone will come with a Mali-G78 GPU. The Pixel 6a could ship with 6GB of RAM, as per the listing. It will run Android 12 OS out of the box. The Pixel 6a scored 1050 and 2883 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively. Also, the phone’s listing on the Geekbench website is a sign that it is headed to the market soon. The Google Pixel 6a will be a slightly downgraded version of last year’s Pixel 6, which did not see the light of the day in India.

However, the Pixel 6a is likely to go official in India. For optics, the handset will reportedly house a 12.2MP Sony IMX363 main camera. In addition to that, it will come with a 12MP Sony IMX396 ultrawide lens. Upfront, it could feature an 8MP Sony IMX355 shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone’s 6.2-inch display could offer Full HD+ resolution.
