After long months of anticipation, iQOO has finally unleashed its iQOO 9 series for the global audience. As usual, the smartphones came with subtle differences over their Chinese counterparts. The brand also introduced the iQOO 9 SE as a third variant featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Through the use of the last year’s flagship SoC, the company manages to offer a more attractive price, in special for markets where this segment is trending. The company announced that the iQOO 9 SE will finally be available for purchase in India on Tuesday, March 8.

iQOO 9 SE price details

iQOO India disclosed some of the iQOO 9 SE details as well as some launch deals. The company will be disclosing the iQOO 9 SE in the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Storage variant, and in the high-tier version with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB Storage versions. Worth noting that the entry option will cost around INR 33,990. The high-tier version will set you back by INR 36,990. Those interested will be able to purchase the phone exclusively via Amazon starting at 12: 00 pm, tomorrow.

Worth noting that iQOO is also partnering with ICICI Bank. As a result, customers purchasing with an ICICI Credit Card will be eligible for a flat INR 3,000 discount on the purchase of the iQOO 9 SE. The discount is valid for both variants. Another interesting deal is that those purchasing the new phone will be eligible for the iQOO premium service program. It grants accidental and liquid damage protection. Apart from it, users can also avail free screen protector and cover from the service center under the program.

The company is also offering an INR 3,000 bump-up exchange value. For the existing iQOO users, there is up to INR 10,000 bump-up exchange bonus. Last but not least, Amazon Prime customers are eligible for a 6-month free screen replacement.

Key specifications

To recall the specs, the iQOO 9 SE flaunts a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ certification. The handset also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the phone packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with an Adreno 660 GPU. Interestingly, it runs Android 12 straight out of the box with Funtouch OS 12 on top. The iQOO 9 SE packs a triple camera setup with a 48 MP snapper, a 13 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP mono sensor. For selfies and video calls, the handset has a 16 MP selfie shooter. The iQOO 9  SE draws its powers from a fairly large 4,500 mAh battery. It supports 66 W fast-charging and comes in Sunset Sierra and Space Fusion colorways.

Now that Vivo is done with the flagship launches for its iQOO lineup, we expect the Chinese brand to focus in its own Vivo-branded flagships. As per reports, the company is touted to bring exciting Vivo NEX devices, including one with a foldable display.
