Xiaomi continues to enrich its latest range of smartphones. According to a leak, the Chinese group is preparing the release of a Xiaomi 12 Pro Max with a larger touch screen.
At the end of last December, Xiaomi presented the Xiaomi 12, a new high-end oriented smartphone. Riding on the commercial and critical success of its flagship, the Chinese brand then unveiled a set of other devices. Xiaomi has notably brought to market the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12X.
According to the leaks, the manufacturer from China does not intend to stop there. Xiaomi is currently preparing the launch of a very high-end version, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. As in previous years, the smartphone will bet on the camera. It also features a new 50-megapixel main sensor from Sony and benefits from the expertise of Leica, a firm specializing in photography.
In the high-end segment, Xiaomi could offer another smartphone stamped Xiaomi 12 in the coming months. According to information shared by Digital Chat Station, a reputable leaker, on Sina Weibo, the Chinese social network, the brand is about to launch a Max version of the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The insider discovered a new code name and model number while digging through the database of a certification body in China. From the name given by Digital Chat Station, we can expect the smartphone to be very close to the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The title Max suggests that the terminal will benefit from a more spacious touch screen . For the record, the 12 Pro is already covered with a 6.73-inch touch screen, which is rather imposing.

It is not impossible that the brand will make other changes to the data sheet, in particular to the camera or the battery size . Very balanced, the 12 Pro has a triple 50 megapixel photo sensor and is powered by a 4600 mAh battery. According to the leak, Xiaomi would launch the smartphone in the second half of 2022 in the Chinese market.
The display will arrive with a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels; a built-in GPS receiver and a 250 mAh battery. The device will still have two versions: with and without NFC. Mi Band 7 will aslo getthe function of the always-on screen (Always-On Display); and the transition to Zepp OS.
There are no details about the new Xiaomi smartwatch yet. It can be either a completely new device or an improved version of some current model. The source suggests that at the same event, along with the Mi Band 7 and the new watch, Xiaomi 12 Ultra can also be presented.
