Realme executive hints Realme GT2 Master Explorer launch for July

Realme GT Master Explorer

Back last year, Realme unveiled the Realme GT Master Explorer as a premium device in the GT series. Although it came with an inferior chipset, (Snapdragon 870 versus Snapdragon 888 on the Realme GT) the device had a premium design made in collaboration with a Japanese designer. The phone also had better camera specifications than the vanilla. Now, it seems that Realme will bring the premium Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition and it will also surpass the Realme GT2 Pro in performance.

The Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition has been slated for “Q3” for a while now. However, Q3 could mean anytime from July 1st to September 30th. Now, the company’s President of Global Market, Xu Qi Chase, has cleared the things. The executive revealed to fans on Weibo that the device will come in July. This was a response to a fan asking for a stylish, powerful phone in the CNY 3,000 ($447) price range. The device will be slightly more expensive than the original Realme GT Master Explorer, but we’re expecting some upgrades in hardware. Interestingly, the original phone was the first in China to get an Android 13 update.
