Apple Services Just Got Even More Expensive

Economic hardship has hit the world quite hard after years of surviving COVID-19. This has led to the increase in the prices of a lot of goods and services. Even though inflation rate is different across the globe, there is no denying that there is inflation globally.

Apple has also responded to the world’s inflation by increasing the prices of some Apple services. If you are on one or two of these Apple services, then take note of this. Because the next time you pay for subscription for any of these Apple services, you will definitely pay more than you use to pay.

Increase In Price Of These Apple Services

Services such as Apple Music, Apple TV+ and Apple One Bundle have all seen reasonable price increase.Apple Services

Services like Apple TV+ is now available for $6.99 instead of $4.99 for monthly subscribers. That makes it $2 increment for Apple TV+ users. However, yearly subscribers will get to save $14.88 every year. Since monthly subscribers are now paying 6.99 every month, yearly subscribers are supposed to pay $83.88 every year. But in this case, yearly subscribers are paying $69. That is still a $10 increase from the previous price of $59. But doing the maths, it still makes a lot of sense to go for the yearly subscription.

Apple Has Spoken On The Increase In Apple Services

An Apple spokesperson made the following statement regarding the price increase for the Apple Services…

The subscription prices for Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple One will increase beginning today. The change to Apple Music is due to an increase in licensing costs, and in turn, artists and songwriters will earn more for the streaming of their music. We also continue to add innovative features that make Apple Music the world’s best listening experience. We introduced Apple TV+ at a very low price because we started with just a few shows and movies. Three years later, Apple TV+ is home to an extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment from the world’s most creative storytellers

The above prices are prices we can confirm with regards to the United States market. But from all indications, global users will receive similar price increases too. If you are a subscriber of any of these services, Apple will soon send you a message informing you of the increments.
