OnePlus Nord 2T enters OxygenOS 13 beta program

OnePlus Nord 2T

A few days back OnePlus announced a new commitment to its users. The company will provide up to four major Android updates to some of its flagships. With “Some” we should consider flagships after the OnePlus 11. The company will also provide five years of security patches, effectively joining a trend that started with Samsung. We don’t know what level of support the company will offer for the phones under the Nord series. But it’s safe to assume that most of them will get at least one major update and in the best scenario two major updates. That said, the OnePlus Nord 2T is moving to get its Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update.

OnePlus is kicking the Open Beta Testa of OxygenOS 13 for the OnePlus Nord 2T. That is good news for users that can’t simply wait for Android 13. It is possible to enroll in the update via Settings >> About Device Menu >> Up to Date >> Beta Program. Once you submit your personal information, you will receive the update within five workdays if you get a green light. Worth noting, that the update is “beta” and may contain with bugs. If that is your only phone, it’s better to wait a little bit before joining the beta test. If your application gets selected you can check the phone’s Settings >> About Device >> Download Now menu.
