Vivo S16 Pro design has been revealed

Vivo is gearing up to introduce the new Vivo S16 series. The devices will replace the Vivo S15 series in China and may reach global markets under the Vivo V26 family. Vivo is yet to confirm the launch of the new phones, but leaks are already popping out. Today, the Vivo S16 Pro had its design revealed by leaked renders. The phone packs a curved screen and a triple-camera setup. Both are characteristic features in the premium mid-range segment.

As per the render, the Vivo S16 Pro will keep the tradition of the Vivo S-series. The focus is on sleek design with a premium look and focuses on the camera department. The Vivo S16 Pro will pack a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. As per the leaks, the panel will be AMOLED, but the exact size of the display is unclear. The side bezels are almost non-existent, and the top and bottom are slim but still there. Of course, we can take profound conclusions from these design renders.

Moving around to the back, the Vivo S16 Pro comes with a triple-camera array. There is a large rectangle housing the snappers along with a LED flash ring. The island has a glossy finish, while the back cover features a matte black finish. The phone features a volume rocker and a power button on the right side frame. The USB Type-C port sits at the bottom along with the microphone and loudspeaker. There is a noise-canceling microphone at the top of the phone. There is a regular power button on the side, so we believe the phone has an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Besides the Vivo S16 Pro, we can also expect a vanilla S16 and even a Vivo S16e. Similarly, the lineup may get a rebrand to Vivo V26e, V26, and V26 Pro across global markets. We would not be surprised to see the new phones appearing late this month or early in January 2023. As per the rumors, Vivo will be using three distinct chipsets for these SoCs.
