Samsung launched two new budget mobile phones in India today. These new mobile phones are the Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e. Both devices feature sleek designs and aim at young people.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e feature a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V waterdrop notch. Both phones feature dual rear cameras, but only the Galaxy A04 has a 50MP main camera. The Galaxy A04e uses a 13MP main camera. Both phones have a 2MP depth sensor to assist in capturing portrait images. On the front, both new phones feature a 5MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e camera systems can record video at up to 1080p 30fps.
The Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e come with the MediaTek Helio P35 chip. Samsung Galaxy A04e is available in three variants. The device has a 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model, a 3GB RAM + 64GB storage model, and a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The Galaxy A04 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage options. Both phones support microSD expandable storage and run Android 12 pre-installed.

Samsung Galaxy A04 & A04e do not support 5G
However, none of these phones supports 5G networks. The Galaxy A04 has GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apart from Wi-Fi 5, the Galaxy A04e also has the same connectivity options, as the phone is limited to Wi-Fi b/g/n. Both devices are powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. Since they lack fingerprint recognition, users must rely on facial recognition or a PIN/password to unlock the device.
