Realme 11 5G, Buds Air 5 series Now Available in India


Realme keeps its commitment to the Indian market bringing new compelling mid-range smartphones. Today, the company presented the all-new Realme 11x 5G in India, and also, took this opportunity to bring the Realme 11 5G and Realme Bud Air 5 series TWS earbuds. The former is another mid-range smartphone with 5G connectivity and affordable price, while the TWS earbuds come for customers who are looking for decent hearables with good value for money.

Realme 11 5G specifications and details

The Realme 11 5G comes in an affordable range with decent specifications. It packs a 6.72-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset alongside 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage, which is also expandable with a micro SD Card.

The phone’s camera setup is modest, but Realme tries to make a good impression with the main camera module. The setup is headlined by a 108 MP ISOCELL HM6 main sensor. Realme boats it as the largest main sensor in the segment. Apart from the impressive main camera, the other snapper is a 2 MP portrait module.

The Realme 11 5G draws its power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging and runs Realme UI 4.0 on top of Android 13. The phone also brings a 16 MP selfie camera, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Pricing and Availability

The Realme 11 5G will sell in Glory Black and Glory Gold color options. The pricing for the Realme 11 5G starts at INR 18,999 ($229) for the variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Storage. The version with 8  GB RAM and 256 GB of Storage will sell at INR 19,999 ($241). The open sales for the handset will begin on August 29.

Realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro

Besides the new smartphone, Realme is also bringing two new TWS earbuds to India. The Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro are the new contenders in this segment. The vanilla Buds Air 5 brings 12.4 mm drivers, ANC, and up to 38 hours of total playback with the charging case. The earbuds support the newer Bluetooth 5.4 standard and Realme also adds a 45 ms low latency mode, 6-mic call noise cancelling system, and Google Fast Pair. The earbuds are also IPX5 splashproof and offer support for AAC and SBC audio codecs.

Realme Buds Air 5

The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro brings 11mm woofers and 6mm planar drivers, ANC, and support for the high-bitrate LDAC codec. The buds pair over Bluetooth 5.3 and support dual-device pairing. Their ANC system can drown out up to 50 dB of noise around you and the buds also support 360-degree spatial audio.

Realme Buds Air 5

The Realme Air 5 will sell at INR 3,699 ($45) and is available in Deep Sea Blue and Arctic White colors. The Buds Air 5 Pro comes in Sunrise Beige and Astral Black color options and retails for INR 4,999 ($60). Open sales will begin on August 29 at 12 noon.
