Samsung Galaxy S23 FE confirmed to have Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 versions


Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE mobile phone before the end of this year. There are rumours that the mobile phone will have two versions of Exynos and Snapdragon processors. It has now been confirmed that the Galaxy S23 FE will indeed come in two versions. One version will come with the Exynos 2200 processor while the other will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The latest confirmation of the chips on this device is from Google Play Console.

Both the Exynos and Snapdragon versions of the Galaxy S23 FE have appeared on Google Play Console. This confirms the existence of both devices as well as their processors. On the Google Play Console listing, one version comes with S5E9925 which is the Exynos 2200. However, there is another version which is listed with SM8450 which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Following Samsung’s usual pattern, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version of the phone may be available in China and the United States. However, the Exynos version may be available in other parts of the world (Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and Latin America).

The listing also shows off the phone’s design, one of its colours, and its default wallpaper. Both versions are shown to have 8GB RAM, and there may not be a 12GB RAM version of the phone.

According to ITHome, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will come with a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a  Full HD+ resolution. It will also support a refresh rate of 120Hz, supports HDR10+, and supports under-screen fingerprints. Furthermore, this device will support IP68 waterproof/dustproof and stereo speakers. In addition to the chips reported above, there will be 128GB/256GB internal storage space.

In the camera department, this device will come with a 50MP main camera which is supported by a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8M telephoto sensor that supports 3x optical zoom. On the front, there will be a 10MP selfie camera. To keep its lights on, this device will come with a built-in 4500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Other features of this device include 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and USB Type-C port. Most of the specs of this mobile phone that are discussed above have also been confirmed by FCC.
