The highly-anticipated Redmi K70 series, which has been the subject of numerous rumors, is on the brink of its official launch in China. This upcoming lineup will introduce three distinct models into the Redmi family. The Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro, and Redmi K70E. With the recent revelation of the vanilla Redmi K70’s 3C certification, we now have insight into its model number and its remarkable fast charging capabilities, setting the stage for an exciting release.

According to the 3C certification, the Redmi K70 will carry the model number 2311DRK48C. As anticipated, it will support 5G network connectivity, ensuring users can harness the full potential of high-speed internet. Notably, the Redmi K70 will also feature support for an astonishing 90W fast charging, promising quick and convenient power top-ups.

Although the 3C certification has unveiled these key details, it has yet to reveal other hardware specifications. However, it’s important to note that this new series will be succeeding the highly-regarded Redmi K60 lineup.

The Redmi K70 series is poised to make its debut in China in the first week of December, according to the MIUI 15 software internal code. These smartphones will come equipped with the Android 14-based MIUI 15 custom skin right out of the box. Ensuring a sleek and user-friendly interface. Furthermore, they will all feature 5G network connectivity for enhanced browsing and streaming experiences.

In terms of performance, the Redmi K70 will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The Pro variant, on the other hand, is likely to house the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Lastly, the Redmi K70E will be running the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, providing a range of options for consumers.

Notably, there are whispers suggesting that the Redmi K70 Pro may break new ground within the K-lineup by featuring a telephoto sensor, enhancing its photography capabilities.

Recent Geekbench listings have offered some insight into the K70 Pro. Revealing a single-core score of 1,100 points and a multi-core score of 5,150 points. Furthermore, the listing indicates that the phone will run on Android 14 OS and sport 16GB of RAM. Additional configurations may be available at launch. The mention of ‘Wall’ in the motherboard section suggests a connection with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
