Motorola has officially announced the upcoming release of the Moto G24 Power, the latest addition to its G series of budget smartphones in India, set to hit the market on January 30th. This launch follows the recent introduction of the standard Moto G24 model.

One notable upgrade in the Moto G24 Power is its substantial increase in battery capacity. Boasting an impressive 6000mAh compared to the Moto G24’s 5000mAh. Additionally, the G24 Power supports 30W fast charging. A notable improvement over the 15W fast charging feature present in the standard G24. Another enhancement is available in the front camera, which has been upgraded to a 16MP sensor in the G24 Power. As opposed to the 8MP front camera in the regular G24 model.

Despite these differences, both models share similar specifications, featuring a 6.56-inch 90Hz HD+ screen, and a Helio G85 SoC. In addition to offering configurations with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP macro camera. Other features encompass stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.

Running on Android 14, the Moto G24 Power also boasts a water repellent design with IP52 ratings, providing users with a degree of protection against the elements. The smartphone will be available in two distinct color options, namely Glacier Blue and Ink Blue. And is anticipated to be competitively priced at under Rs.10,000 (about $120).

Motorola plans to make the Moto G24 Power accessible through various channels, including online platforms like Flipkart and motorola.in, as well as through offline retail stores. The company will reveal the exact pricing details during the official launch event next week, providing consumers with a comprehensive overview of the device’s features and affordability.
