Next month Mediatek will release the 8-core MT6592 processor, and already we have some great looking phones to look forward to along with this mystery machine from TCL.

TCL, one of Mediatek’s larger customers, has posted a PCB of a mystery device with 8-core MT6592 processor labeled the TCL Idol X!

The uber-thin bezel phablet, the TCL N3 is now available in China for RMB 1,999. The 6-inch device had been in the news for having a seriously high screen to footprint ratio, thanks to the 1.95mm bezels.

The TCL N3 is possibly one of the hottest Mediatek powered phones to launch out of China this year, but as usual it is us here in China who will have the first chance to bag one.

Thin bezels and big screens are what we want to see from Chinese phone makers and TCL seem to have the mix just right with the new 6-inch TCL N3.

TCL have been working on their latest quad-core phablet for a few months. Now ahead of the official launch the TCL N3 has had it’s first date in front of the camera.

Each year at around this time Chinese phone makers battle it out to be first to launch with the newest Mediatek chip! This year TCL hope to me first with the 8-core MTK6592.

TCL have released an official render of the new 6-inch TCL N3, a phone we believe will eventually be available internationally as n Alcatel model.
