Lenovo eBox Game Console Gets Launch Date and Name Change

are on track to their eBox home next month, actually on track may be the wrong choice of words as the Kinect style motion controlled should have mid way through last year! Eedoo the the sub-brand finally announced that the eBox will get it’s official on 6th May while also getting a change, the original for the eBox was August 2010!

The eBox is the first every Chinese designed and made home games console and uses a similar control system as both the Nintedo Wii (with controller) and xBox 360 Kinect (using body gestures alone)

As the eBox will be the only official home games console to launch in China and the fact Lenovo have teamed up with Tencent to bring QQ games to the device, Lenovo are expecting huge demand for the motion controlled entertainment center.
