The FAEA F1 is a Meizu MX2 wannabe with quad-core CPU and NFC

Not many domestic Chinese phones offer NFC support and of those we have seen they have been quite ugly bulky looking devices. The Faea F1 is the first slim NFC phone we have seen, and it also happens to look a lot like the Meizu MX2.

To be fair to the F1 it's not all Meizu clone, there is also a good dose of Xiaomi Mi2 in there also. The light emitting home button is very similar to what the MX2 sports while the overall shape and side profile look remarkably similar to the Xiaomi Mi2.

Unlike the the Xiaomi and Meizu devices though, the FAEA F1 packs a larger 4.5-inch 720p display and built-in NFC which can be programmed for file sharing and electronic payments. Even with the larger screen and built-in NFC the overall dimensions are on par with the MX2 at 128 x 63.8 x 10.3mm.

Unsurprisingly a quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor with 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, while a 2 mega-pixel front and 8 mega-pixel rear cameras perform photo and video duties.

No pricing or release date just yet but expect prices to start at 999 Yuan ($160) and rising.
