OnePlus Ace 6T Launched With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 8000mAh Battery

After multiple teasers, OnePlus took everyone by surprise with the official unveiling of the OnePlus Ace 6T. The brand has chosen the way of simply unveiling the smartphone, and we're pretty sure that, considering the specifications, no one will ever complain. The OnePlus Ace 6T brings significant improvements over the original OnePlus Ace 6, including a massive 8,000mAh battery. The phone is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus 15R in international markets.

The OnePlus Ace 6T is the first smartphone to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Interestingly, the device is the first announced with this chipset. We still don't have the official specs sheet for this processor. Qualcomm revealed its name and existence way back in September, but the official announcement will happen on November 26. It's not clear how more powerful it is compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Other features include a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for fast biometric authentication. The device has dual 50 MP main cameras with 8 MP ultrawide shooters on the back. It also has a 32 MP selfie snapper with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. There is also vapor chamber cooling, and a massive 8,000mAh battery with 100W fast-charging support. Finally, we have a smartphone with a massive 8,000mAh battery, but unfortunately, chances are this capacity won't make way to international markets. The phone will run ColorOS 16 in China.

The OnePlus Ace 6T will sell in three colors: Black, Green, and Purple. The device will feature the same metal frame as the OnePlus 15 with micro-arc oxidation. The black and green will have a silky texture for the glass back. The purple option has a fiberglass back.

The OnePlus 15R should be based in the OnePlus Ace 6T and not in the Ace 6 as previously thought. Obviously, the exact differences between the Ace 6T and its global counterpart are yet to be disclosed.
