It was fun while it lasted I guess? News from the US confirm that OnePlus is officially shutting down all business in the US Market. The company made an official statement 2 weeks ago regarding the matter and made clear that there is no future for it in the North American and EU markets. Today, the last OnePlus smartphone was sold via oneplus.com and the lights went out.

As you can see from the screenshots below, both the OnePlus 15 and the 15R models are out of stock and this comes as no surprise. The website looks quite empty now, as no tablets nor smartwatches are available - although you can still get those OnePlus Buds you've been waiting for months (I guess?). I checked also the OnePlus Canada website and things were bleak there as well, as there are no earbuds in stock. OnePlus Mexico has nothing on it as well...
OnePlus has officially sold its last phone in the US — the OnePlus 15, 15R, Pad Go 2, and Watch 4 are all out of stock on oneplus.com with no restock planned.

If you're a fan of the Chinese company and currently reside in the US, you may still be able to get some OnePlus deals via Amazon but just a few. The only other way to get one of the new OnePlus models in the future will be to order one from China - with all the perils that it may have.
Speaking of the "new" OnePlus models, you may have read my news about the upcoming OnePlus 16 that should be unveiled this October, but it will only be available in China and - perhaps - India. I have to say that I was among the first out there to get some OnePlus smartphones and really dislike the idea that I won't be able to get their new models or have decent support in the EU in the future. But this is the typical about this type of business. If sales are low, or the CEO's don't make the correct choices, the whole company may fall into pieces.
