The
Oppo Find 7 models aren’t the only new phones to be hitting the market soon, as details of the previously unknown
Oppo R8007 hit the
news!
Interest in producing
mid-range Qualcomm phones in
China is growing. Xiaomi have recently announced the Xiaomi Hongmi 1S and now Oppo are set to launch the Qualcomm powered
Oppo R8007.
Spotted on the GFXBench database the
Oppo R8007 packs a Snapdragon S4 MSM8226 chipset,
13 mega-pixel main camera, Android 4.3 and
1280 x 720 resolution display. With these specifications the 1.6Ghz
mid-range phone is only set up to run on
China Mobile’s
TD-SCDMA 3G and
China Telecom 3G networks, however a few tweaks could see the phone working on WCDMA networks too.
Could the Oppo R8007 also be headed to international markets as a replacement to the popular Oppo R819? It is possible, as is the chance we could see it at MWC later this month!
