It was only a matter of time that
Vivo would follow the likes of Oppo and
Meizu to pastures
new. After the
launch of the Vivo
Xplay 3S yesterday, the
Chinese phone maker has announced it plans to enter 3
new markets.
Shen Wei, the President of Vivo, has said that the premium
phone maker intends to enter
India along with other Thailand,
Malaysia and a few other lucky Asian markets. The choice of Asian countries is a safe bet for Vivo, and one which Xiaomi,
Gionee, and Oppo have proven will work.
As for which
phones Vivo intend to
launch outside of China, expect lower end Mediatek models to be the
first with the
Xplay 3S coming at a later date.
