Xiaomi laptop rumoured to launch in August

Since Xiaomi began they have gone from start-up phone maker to an electronics phenomenon with their own Android TV Box, clothing and soon their own laptop computers.

The rumours appeared on Weibo (Chinese Twitter) earlier today and claim that Xiaomi are working on its own 15.6-inch 1080p laptop with a retail price of just 3999 Yuan ($650). Sources claim that the Xiaomi laptop will run a Intel Core i7 processor with 8GB RAM and GT660M graphics.

No news on what operating system the Xiaomi might run, but we believe it will be a highly customised MIUI version of Linux.
