Xiaomi's 69 Yuan cube can control your home

Xiaomi's latest connected home gadget is the Xiaomi Cube that connects to Mi home products for easy control.

Xiaomi's range of connected products includes scales, IP cameras, routers, air purifiers, lamps and more. Xiaomi already bundle their phones with an app so you can easily connect and control those household items, but now they are offering another innovative little gadget.

The Mi Cube is a small pastel coloured cube measuring only 45mm x 45mm x 45mm, but has the guts to control your Xiaomi TV, lamp, air purifiers, home cameras and other select products.

The idea is simple, if you want to turn on your connected light you simply flip the cube over by 90 degrees and it will turn on, flip it back and off the light goes. We assume with 6 sides, each 69 Yuan cube can control up to 6 products, but how to know which side operates what remains uncertain.

Xiaomi have started to offer the cube on sale now in white, pink and blue.
