$90 Android Tablet with Samsung CPU and GPS

Another week and another sub $100 tablet computer mimicking the looking of the iPad and running Google’s Android in this case Android 1.6. It’s not made certain if the hardware will support an upgrade to 2.1 or higher, but the Samsung sourced 667MHz processor should be powerful enough to support the newer Android OS’s.

Gizchina News of the week

Although it looks similar to the 10 inch iPad this 600RMB clone only measures 7inches and only has a built in memory of 1GB (although there is a mini SD card slot for storage upgrades) ram is also pretty stingy at only 256mb, which is a real surprise as 2Gb of storage and more ram wouldn’t cost a whole lot more over the hardware supplied.
On the upside the cpu as mentioned above is a Samsung model and is clocked at 667Mhz and also support a Samsung GPS chip, AV out, USB and a 3.5mm head phone jack.
