Rumour: BBK to launch 5 inch 1080p Vivo X3 Oppo Find 5 killer?

BBK are the brand behind the fantastic looking world’s thinnest Android phone, Vivo X1, with dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM. While there is a lot of excitement around the X1 it is possible that BBK have a super phone up their sleeve which they are keeping very quiet about! A phone which could take on the mighty Oppo Find 5!

Rumour began on Chinese tech sites today that BBK have a surprise 5 inch device which they will unveil alongside the Vivo X1 (pictured) in November.

Gizchina News of the week

The Vivo X3 This unamed device will feature a high-end specification which will rival both the 5 inch Oppo Find 5 and also 5 inch HTC models including a 1920 x 1080 resolution display!

While this is all unconfirmed at the moment a source close to BBK is claiming the Oppo Find 5 killer will come equipped with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip, Β which will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. A large 3000 mAh battery will keep the phone running for as long as possible while a 13 mega-pixel rear camera is sure to take some fantastic photos!

We can also guess that the large screen BBK phone will get 2GB RAM, a 2-3 mega-pixel front camera and possibly wireless charging!

More news as we get it!

Oh, did you, ehm… read my links?

Does this have wireless charging and since the screen is 1080p will it be the same as the Oppo Find 5’s and the HTC at 440ppi?

    Please answer!

Oh sorry Martin should have looked at your tips first :p The Oppo fans are not happy that BBK could be stealing the Find 5’s limelight haha:)

There is also an interesting looking competition you could enter (having knowledge in Chinese). I would love to enter it but seems fairly complicated (mainly because it is in Chinese)…

How thin will this be, how much will it cost and it will come with what pair of Beyerdynamics?

    • October 25, 2012

No idea to both of those questions sorry.

I hate how they hold the phones at an angle so you cant see how wide it is and also how wide the bezel is. Looks good and reads good but when you get a real full on shot it might not look so nice.
3k battery and wireless charging sound better than the oppo. Not heard much about the quality of this brand though. Perhaps cheaper than oppo.
Personally I cant wait for a camera that does HDR.

The phone in the pictures is a Vivo X1. The X3 is still under wraps, although I have learned the price of the Vivo X3 is expected to be around 2500 Yuan ($399) which will be less than the Oppo Find 5!

If only the Oppo Find 5 didn’t have such a good design…

I really liked the Oppo Find 5 previous design, very similar like this. A little rounded, fits in my hand. It seems in China they have a good sense of business. They started to release the “phablets” of the future. When the others come to the markets, everything will be full of fine-cheap-chinese-phones (FCCP). πŸ™‚

Sorry to spoil this but do you know where to buy the latest and best chinese macbook clones/iPad clones?

  7. October 25, 2012

The Chinese phones are gradually taking over the world.

This is a very sweet phone though I want to see more close up pictures of the sides and possibly a youtube video.

The name is kind of cool too

Hi everybody, who the … needs wireless charging? This is only to make you buy new devices once your battery is broke. That only helps the supplier. And most of all, I can’t use my phone while charging.

Yeah you’re right, it;s fascinating up to a certain point.

Although, I would love the VIVO X3 to support wireless charging…
