Purported photo of 5-inch Meizu MX3 circuit board and specs leaked!

It has been rumoured for some time that Meizu are working on a larger phone which will become the next generation Meizu MX3, but could this leaked PCB be part of the new phone?

The leaked circuit board showed up on the Meizu forums late yesterday, since then fans have gone over the design with a fine tooth comb ever since and believe that they have uncovered some clues about what the new phone will be sporting. Chances are the MX3 will get NFC a micro SD card reader (which we haven’t seen on a Meizu phone before), removable battery, but no LTE support.

Gizchina News of the week

In addition source close to Meizu have claim the Mx3 will be equipped with Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa 410 processor, with 2GB RAM and 5-inch 1920 x 1080 display.

More leaked details of the new Meizu MX3 are likely to be hitting websites more often over the next few months, and we plan to keep you up to date with the latest news!

Depends on firmware support and sdcard support. Of course, price also matters.

    It depends…
I will buy the one with removable battery
    I hate the fixed ones

    Definately the xiami xi3!
I believe the octa-core will be faster then the snapdragon 800 but the snapdragon has everything else way more awesome! Fast charge, 4g, 4k, 52 mp support.. Just awesome!

8 cores will never be working at the same time, so snapdragon 800 will still be more faster.

If Meizu will have MIUI or at least clean Android… But no if Flyme only.

+ 1 This is THE weak point of Meizu’s phone

“What are you guys more excited about?”

I would say the first to be available since I will visit Asia in the couple of months where I can get these phones much cheaper than in Europe.

Waiting for Xiaomi Mi3. I always found Meizu’s products to be overpriced. Also waiting for Newman N3 and K2. Currently have the K1 youth, and it’s one of the best phones I’ve ever used, maybe even higher than the Newman N2 and Jiayu G3. Planning to write a guest review soon.

Competition is always a good thing, so bring on the Meizu MX-3. Hopefully someone will develop the jellybam custom rom for it.

Newman smartphones are pretty solid, I think the only disappointing thing about the N2 was Ice Cream Sandwich – but thats it.

Airyl where did you buy your K1 from & is the advanced model out yet?

Someone also told that Newman are very good with providing firmware dates for their phones (I’m guessing they are OTA too). Bring on the N3 & K2 we are waiting 🙂

Do you guys think, it would get CM support? Since GS4 with Exynos got CM I hope this one would get it as well although Samsung hasn’t released Exynos sourcecode, or whatever it is..
