After posting a teaser of a mystery black device on Weibo, Xiaomi have announced that the black product is a wireless router.
Xiaomi have a range of phones, an Android box and Android smart TV, to complete the package and ensure clear uninterrupted streaming between these products they are now taking orders for their very own wireless router!

Pre-orders started this morning for the product, but in true Xiaomi style the company have kept details a secret along with the retail price. This hasn’t stopped rumours though with Chinese tech sites claiming the device will support 2.4Ghz/5Gz dual frequency WIFI. Pricing is expected to be keen but we won’t know fur sure until 19th December.

It ain’t enough. It also should support WiFi AC and have Gigabit Ethernet ports. Otherwise this router will be just. Meh…
Looks kinda large but stylish in a dyson air multiplier kinda way.
Gigabit, AC and perhaps room for a drive? Presumably it has NFC for “wifi tap things”
