Huawei Mediapad X1 finally goes official

Finally after all the leaks, and after an early launch here in China, the Huawei Mediapad X1 finally get’s it’s international debut at Mobile World Congress.

There isn’t much which can be said about the Huawei Mediapad X1 which hasn’t already been said, but let’s go over the details once again now that they are finally official.

Gizchina News of the week

The Mediapad X7 is a 7-inch tablet, meaning smaller than the Mediapad M1, it is also a narrow device at only 7.18mm and Huawei have kept the bezels down to a minimum meaning that 80% of the front of the X1 is taken up with display! The same Hisilicon 1.6Ghz processor we have seen in the M1 makes it’s way in to the Mediapad X1 but cameras are much better with a 5 mega-pixel shooter up front and 13 mega-pixel Sony unit with LED flash on the rear.

Even the battery is looking good at 5000mAh, however OS is a bit of a let down, Android 4.2.1 seems like an odd choice when the Medipad M1 has Android 4.4!
