You don’t need to wait for the Samsung Note 4 now that the Goophone N4 is here!

goophone n4

The prospect of the Samsung Note 4 is being launched is an exciting one, but as usual it is Chinese phone maker GooPhone who are cashing in on the news with details of the GooPhone N4 clone.

GooPhone have once again taken whatever leaked images, dimensions and details from around the web and their sources to create a Samsung Note 4 clone! And once again they have done it before the original model has officially been launched!

GooPhone say that their GooPhone N4 is a near 1:1 replica (aka clone) of the upcoming Samsung phablet, but will cost just a fraction of the price.

As usual the clone is powered by a Mediatek chip, a 1.7Ghz MT6592 octacore in this case, plus a few features we don’t expect Samsung will be offering such as dual-sim support and a micro SD card expansion.

GooPhone N4 Specifications

  • 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 display.
  • 1.7Ghz Octacore Mediatek MT6592 CPU.
  • 2GB RAM.
  • 16GB internal memory.
  • Android 4.4 OS.
  • Dual SIM
  • WCDMA 850/2100Mhz, GSM 850/900/1800/1900Mhz
  • 5 mega-pixel front camera.
  • 13 mega-pixel rear camera.
  • 3200mAh battery

Chinese reseller Vifocal are currently listing the GooPhone N4 available for preorder. There is no retail price mentioned, but they do have an image of the phone which features an enticing screen/body ratio, and single physical home button.

This is not the first time that GooPhone have managed to beat a manufacturer to the launch. In the past they were the first company to launch an iPhone 5 clone which went on sale before Apple’s phone, and they managed the same with the Samsung Galaxy S5. Those devices proved to be accurate in design, will it be the same this time around with the GooPhone N4?

We will keep our eyes on the details to see if the price and other features are added over the coming weeks.

Seriously? “Goophone” really has no shame. This ‘Note 4 clone’ has exactly the same specs as the Elephone P8, only with a different label/logo. China also makes fakes Rolex watches that look very much like the real thing. They also tell the correct time twice a day. Bottom line: More made in China Crap that will wind up in your local landfill within 3 months.

    • Rob

Literally 90% of everything you own is made in China,

      • The Chosen One

Pay him no mind Rich. Poor fool doesn’t realize that the device he used first to view this article then to comment, at its core, has 99% of its fundamental components made in China.

    • Faux-News

Why would they be ashamed when their are goal of making a clone is exactly to be known as clone itself ? The marketing catch is it on being a clone.

  • Allanitomwesh

This I would buy for $250 or less. Not because its a clone, but because the specs are decent.

  • MrPsanter

Aren’t you ashamed to make such a stupid comparison since the Note 4 will obviously have much higher specs than this goophone crap? I’m not even sure you can compare this device to the actual Note 3…..

    • Tapan Zaman HDC Galaxys S5 I9600 is a very nice and gorgious mobile set to me. It’s MTK6589 Quad Core processor is very fast and
smooth work which i really like so much. It’s 1920×1080 Display looks very beautiful. This mobile have 2GB Ram 16GB
Rom and 13MP Camera is really so nice. It’s Air Gesture Control Heart Rate Sensor is amazing to me. I just love this
      mobile set very much.

They would clone their own mother for money.

  • Rob

The only positive I can think of if you really must purchase a clone is that you get a huge range of accessories that fit which you generally don’t get with any Chinese phone.

    • Marco Lancaster

True story, also if you can put the original battery is awesome. Chinese phones this year have average batteries.

      • Evgenij Nebotov

doubt it. this phone is being built on other chip, the internals won’t be copied, besides they build it right now and no one have seen the original note4 battery in person yet 😉

        • Marco Lancaster

Yeah i know, I’m just refering to 1:1 clones, like the ones of Note 3 and s4. This one is clearly not, anyway after a two months of launch, we can see clones supporting original battery or have the same size for cases or docks.

      • AddKluZiv

Even Samsung phones have batteries that die up soon…

  • Evgenij Nebotov

if it goes for 200$ flat, i will take one easily. specs are nice, footprint looks a little less even than my e-ceros one, which i’m being a little dissappointed in because of factory defect. if it is dualsim and preferrably have a notification led, that it’s a win-win 🙂

  • Waffles

How can they state is a 1:1 replica when the real thing isn’t even out yet? They’re either stupid or think we’re stupid

  • yasin

No LTE… nowhere near the real Note4, not a amoled screen, camera’s quality wont be near the Note4 , and no rom update, bug fixes , and not rootable/underclock/overclockable because mediatek does not release the source code and that’s why no Mediatek based phones 4me. I rather pay more but get quality!.

  • forhad

Its nice. but how about this one

  • Reddy Mouniswar
