10,000 Xiaomi power banks sold in one day in India

Xiaomi finally introduced its attractively priced range of power banks in India, in the usual 10400mAh and 5200mAh flavours in India. Like the Mi 3, the power banks too are available (only pre-order at the moment) via Flipkart.

According to a report by 91mobiles, Xiaomi managed to gather a total of 10,000 pre-orders for the Mi Power Banks. The 10400mAh and 5200mAh variants are priced lucratively at 999 INR ($16.5) and 799 INR ($13) respectively. Naturally, the 10400mAh version is what got more popularity thanks to the higher value : price ratio.

This meant that the 10400mAh variant went out of stock in no time. On the other hand, the 5200mAh version is still open for pre-order at 799 INR.
