Xiaomi Redmi 1S lands in Indonesia!

After announcing the Redmi 1S for India a couple of days back, Xiaomi is back with another bit of good news, this time for fans in Indonesia!

Xiaomi had made clear it was looking to expand into Indonesia a week or so back. Without wasting much time, the Chinese company has announced that it will be selling the popular Redmi 1S in the country for an attractive price of IDR 1.5 million or $128. While this is no match to the $99 price tag the phone carries in India, the Redmi 1S is still quite a worthy device for that amount.
