Lenovo Vibe P1 specs include a 4900mAh battery

lenovo vibe p1

On the cusp of launching their own subtend ZUK Z1 flagship, details of a new Lenovo Vibe P1 have turned up with specs that could scupper the new phones launch.

What we know of the ZUK Z1 is that it will feature a 4000+mAh battery, Snapdragon processor (808), 3GB RAM and a finger print scanner all in a body made of glass and alloy.

Gizchina News of the week

Its a promising package and the phone could be seen as a good challenger to the OnePlus Two, and if not the Lenovo Vibe P1 surely could. The Vibe P1 boasts an even more substantial 4900mAh battery and a ZUK style fingerprint scanner beneath a 5.5-inch display.

For the Vibe P1, Lenovo have made the phone from a unibody alloy chassis with a slightly tweaked Lenovo logo measuring 152.9 x 75.6 x 9.9mm.

No details of the hardware, but don’t be surprised if we learn the Vibe P1 offers the same 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 808 as the ZUK Z1.

Ohh my, All other OEM’s should try this. Battery backup is a huge issue now.

Most brands have at least one phone that has a huge battery already in the market or planned. The newer technology most are exploring instead is quick charge, which allows you to charge you battery in a matter of minutes instead of hours. This allows them to still use smaller batteries which don’t take up as much room but still gives consumers good battery life.

Yes yes, Manufacturers are adapting quick charge, But a bigger battery and quick charge coupled will be more benifical to a user. But still 5000mah in 8.9mm is just crazy.

Then there is Gionee (and a few others), their new M5 has two batteries that add up to 6000mAh and it’s only 8.5 but its on the heavier. Personally I prefer thinner phones so I don’t mind batteries around 3000, like another Gionee the S7 which has a 2700mAh stuffed inside a 5.5mm body.

It is funny that this guy above said “This is just crazy, 3900mah in 9.9mm body”, and I also know about THL, just like you. THL 5000 has 5000 mAh in 8,9 mm thin body and it is a 5 inch phone! And this is 5,5 inch phone, so it wouldn’t be strange if they managed to put 6000 mAh battery inside! And this guy above find it special about 3900 mAh, but it isn’t so special. 🙂

Anyway, I hope that you know that THL used Amprius batteries in some of their phones, that is why they had so much mAh in so (phisically) small batteries. And I owned THL 4400, weaker version of THL 5000. 😀

Me too. And there is their THL 5000T (Tesla) model. Nikola Tesla was famous Serbian scientiest who basically changed the world with his alternate current, and I am Serbian, so I am proud of him. 🙂 That was off topic. Anyway, like you, I like phones with big batteries, but with reasonable thickness.
