This looks appealing to me moreso that I’m looking to replace the Xiaomi RN3 (MTK). I’m totally disappointed in everything Xiaomi and will just love to take a break from them. So, can anyone recommend a good replacement phone? Looking at either Vernee Apollo Lite or LeEco Le 2 Pro. Thanks.

A lot of people had hardware issues myself included. For me the GPS never worked and still doesn’t to this day. In various forums people have had camera, audio, sim reader and display failures.

I used it outside, inside, in the car, in the city, in the countryside never worked a single time in any of them.

How many days a reviewer spends with the phone? one day?
I wanted to buy thor for a friend so I’ve read 100 pages forum thread on 4pda with feedback from real users. Shortly to say, read the balco’s comment below. Also many complained that touchscreen is glitchy.

So I read too. What about the LeEco Le 2 Pro. Any thoughts?

So far, LeEco as brand proved to be much more trustworthy.
Take a look at LeTV Le1 Pro too.

Yeah, the Vernee Thor is junk. All people who know about phones noticed all the problems, only the noobs say it’s a good phone…

I replaced my RMN3 Mediatek with RMN3 Snapdragon version… With the bootloader hack and cyanogenmod 13 it is a nice phone.

I considered waiting for the Apollo lite aswell but I dislike those onscreen buttons.

Another phone I am looking forward to is the Qiku / 360 N4S which will be released on 15th of July

Thanks for your input. I considered swapping RN3 (MTK) for RN3 (Snapdragon) but can’t imagine there is a whole world of difference. MIUI remains same on Android 5.0.2, some even on 4. Xiaomi doing a number of its customers and that’s not cool at all.
Right now, I just feel like trying another brand. Surely, there are similar or better phones out there in the same price range.

should I buy Vernee Apollo Lite or Letv le1 pro? or letv le2 pro? letv le2 pro problem is that the screen is not 2K anymore but just full hd . from 587PPI to 401 PPI.. plus let le2 pro has 32GB instead of 64GB and no sd card both… and also letv le2 pro has a fingerprint sensor..
I want 64GB or either 32GB with SD CARD possiblity.
And I want a fingerprint scanner. a processor no less then an x20 or snapdragon 810.
it’s so hard to choose… will I regret taking le1 pro because it DOESN”T HAEV an fingerprint sensor? i really want one with fingerprint sensor but a STRONG phone like le 1 pro.. vernee apollo lite sounds good, but the screen bezels from sides look big actually..
plus if i order verne apollo lite from china . i have to pay 30euro additionally to the 210 euro that it costs….
