Dual rear camera Ulefone in the works?

We’ve just received word from the folks over at Ulefone telling us about a dual-rear camera phone that might be in the works! I’m not sure how to react to this, because everything will really depend on the implementation.

This has been the season for dual rear cameras. After Huawei’s P9 and Honor 8, it was turn of the Apple iPhone to join in on the dual rear camera fun with the iPhone 7 Plus and make them mainstream. And thus, it doesn’t come as a shock that Ulefone are wanting to pull off something similar!

Xiaomi too did a bit of dual rear camera with the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. Word is that their next-in-line Mi Note 2 will have one of those too!

Besides the dual rear camera, other stuff that you can expect on this upcoming phone are a MediaTek Helio X25 chipset, 6GB of RAM and a home button-mounted fingerprint sensor. Chinese flagships are known to get a spec change or two after initial announcements… and this isn’t even an announcement, so it might make sense to not wait with bated breath for this one!

Word is that it’ll come only in 2017, so it’s still a fair few months away. Regardless, what’s your thoughts on this?

Wonder if this will be the Be Touch 4? Would be nice to see a successor to my BT2. The BT3 was a letdown..
